About Meridian Trips
Meridian Trips started in Austin in 2013 after a do-it-yourself trip through Southeast Asia lost three of eight days to closed sites and missed trains. We decided a good trip needs a planner who has walked the route.
Since then we have planned 3,400 trips across more than 50 countries. Every itinerary is built by a planner who has traveled the destination in person, so the hotel we suggest is one they have slept in and the guide is one they have walked beside. No templates and no fixed departures.

Your planner owns a region and travels it every year, and stays your single contact from the first call to the flight home.
Written quotes
Every trip is quoted in writing with a per-item breakdown. No surprise fees added after you approve the plan.
Honest limits
We name each supplier's cancellation window before you pay, and we say when a date or hotel will not work rather than sell around it.
